The SCS schedule for fall 2013-spring 2014 will be posted in late August 2013.

The Shoals Chamber Singers are dedicated to bringing the high quality choral music literature to listeners in the Shoals and northern Alabama. This group of 25-28 auditioned members is made up of men and women who are trained in singing multi-voiced and multi-lingual music. The choir performs an eclectic array of literature extending back to the Renaissance and through the most contemporary idioms. Although the group sings literature from all periods their tendency is music from the American tradition.
 The Shoals Chamber Singers began in 1986 with founding conductor, Kevin Robison, and continues to share their music with the community in performing concerts at local area churches along with singing at other venues. Our focus is the enrichment of the human spirit and the fellowship of community through performing great choral art.

The Shoals Chamber Singers welcomes experienced singers who are interested in advanced sacred and secular choral literature. A good ear is expected and the ability to read music is helpful, but a trained voice is not necessary. If this describes you, we cordially invite you to visit with us during a rehearsal. The choir members are selected by audition. The group rehearses one evening each week from September through May. Auditions are typically held prior to the beginning of the choir's fall season, but they can be held at other times if vacancies exist. Auditions may be arranged at any time by contacting the
